A radial dipole beside a 5 nm gold sphere (n = 0.141 + 3.152i), 614 nm, with Feibelman d-parameters: against Gonçalves et al. 2020 Gonçalves et al., Nat. Commun. 11, 366 (2020): quantum surface corrections enter the Mie coefficients through the d-parameters; their closed form summed in mpmath (40 digits, 120 orders) against PyStratify's Feibelman boundary conditions (300 orders within 1 nm of the surface). The d-parameters shift the quenching close to the surface.
