A dipole 1–100 nm from a 50 nm silver sphere (n = 0.093 + 4i), 633 nm: the decay rates against Mie's series in 40 digits Majic & Le Ru's Eqs. 34–37 summed in mpmath (up to 1400 orders at 1 nm) against PyStratify's adaptive order; at contact the total rate is quenching, the nonradiative part, while the radiative rate stays finite.
