Coherent films on both sides of a 12 µm incoherent layer, on glass, 640 nm: against an explicit average over its phase An incoherent layer is a coherent one whose round-trip phase is averaged out: the reference solves the whole stack coherently 301 times with that layer's phase spread over one period (its absorption kept) and averages R and T; PyStratify's incoherent transfer matrix does it in closed form. The test also compares the absorption in each layer.
